Chrome Extension — AHire Co-Apply
What the Extension Accesses
The AHire Co-Apply Chrome extension reads the content of job application pages you visit in order to detect form fields and auto-fill them with your profile data. It does not read, store, or transmit any other browsing activity.
Data Flow
All profile data (name, email, phone, resume) is fetched from your secure AHire account via authenticated API calls. No personal data is stored inside the extension itself — it is held only in your browser session.
Permissions Used
The extension requires activeTab (to read the current job page), scripting (to inject autofill logic), storage (to save local settings like salary expectation), and notifications (to alert you when a job is saved). Host permission is required for ahire.evotech.au to securely communicate with the backend API.
Data Sharing
The extension sends job page content (title, description, URL) to AHire servers only when you explicitly click Save Job or Generate Cover Letter. This data is used solely to power those features.
Your Control
You can disable or remove the extension at any time via Chrome Extensions settings. All locally stored settings are deleted upon removal.
